BACKPrior to joining Eptalex, President Chikhani was a former judge of the First Commercial Court of Beirut, a Criminal Judge in Halba, a Civil Judge in Jbeil, a Counselor at the Court of Appeals in Saida, overseeing execution and urgent matters, and he was the President of the First Instance Chamber in charge of real estate cases.
Pr. Chikhani was also a former teacher with the Ministry of National Education and an administrative employee with the rank of Head of Department in the General Directorate of Public Administration, serving as Head of the Foreigners’ Department and Head of the Office in the General Directorate of Personal Status. He Successfully completed the Heads of Divisions course at the Civil Service Board.
He was a University Professor at the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the Lebanese University, from 1994 to 2001, and then from 2006 onward. He also taught at the Faculty of Information and Documentation at the Lebanese University, from 1995 to 1999, and at the Faculty of Public Health for the academic year 2007-2008. He also taught at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik from 1997 to 2001.
