BACKAndrea has been a partner at Eptalex since 2025, after gaining more than twenty years of experience in leading Italian professional firms. Previously, he was a partner at Gatti Pavesi Bianchi Ludovici starting in 2021, following its merger with L&P – Ludovici Piccone & Partners, the firm where he had been a partner since 2016; before that, beginning in 2006, he worked with Maisto e Associati.
He specializes in corporate and group taxation, transfer pricing, European Union law and extraordinary transactions, areas in which he has developed deep and multidisciplinary expertise. He has gained significant experience assisting domestic and international clients in connection with complex tax audits, settlement procedures with the tax authorities, judicial conciliation, as well as international dispute-resolution procedures (MAP and APA). He regularly conducts litigation before the tax courts, handling cases of high technical and strategic complexity.
Andrea also serves as a member of boards of statutory auditors of major companies, including as chair, and sits on boards of directors, providing technical and strategic input on financial, tax, corporate and governance matters.
He regularly publishes articles on tax matters in leading national and international journals and participates, as a lecturer, in conferences and post-graduate specialization courses.
