Experience

Cesar handles a wide range of cases in Lebanon and Dubai, primarily representing banks and insurance companies in collection matters, as well as assisting clients in incorporating business structures on-shore and in the free zones, following-up on the daily operations of their businesses, drafting agreements and strategic planning.

Cesar has acquired an extensive experience in IP matters, specifically IP issues in corporate transactions. He conducts due diligence to enquire about the ownership of IP rights and advises clients whether to proceed with a share or asset acquisition.

He is also involved in International Tax and has advised numerous clients on tax planning and group restructuring. Always looking to connect any area of law to corporate transactions, Cesar is an expert on the effects of taxes on M&As decisions and their role in target valuation.

Cesar attended the 2013 Summer Program on Private International Law at the Hague Academy. In addition, he participated in the 2014 Mediation Competition organised by the ICC in Paris, and coached the team that received third place in 2017.

He joined the Beirut Bar Association in 2015.

He passed the MCT exam in August 2021 and will be soon a qualified Lawyer in England and Wales.
